Another successful team effort at the weekly meeting of the AVG at RAF Metheringham museum. Despite the horrendous rain and sleet, five of our volunteers braved the weather and gave their time to help with our activities. We had a shortened session and within only two hours, our experienced volunteers managed to record 28 new items into our archives system. Many thanks to all who came this week and to those who have kindly helped during the 2018 season. The museum closes on Wednesday 31st October, but the AVG continues its varied activities; we will keep posting our news so you are kept up-to-date. New dates will be sent out to AVG members (who are part of the new Curatorial Team) next week but if you want to find out more about how to get involved over the closed season please email us through our ‘Contact us’ page and entitle your email Curatorial Volunteering. Happy Curating!
